Dragoon Skills Overview

Global Cooldown Actions (Single Target)

Icon Name Acronym Description
True Thrust True Thrust TT Basic combo initiator for both the Chaos Thrust and the Full Thrust combo with 290 potency.
Raiden Thrust Raiden Thrust RT Direct upgrade to True Thrust after successfully landing the positional of the last combo action, i.e. Fang and Claw in the Chaos Thrust combo and Wheeling Thrust in the Full Thrust combo. The True Thrust button will temporarily be replaced by this 330 potency action.
Disembowel Disembowel DE 320 potency action that combos off of True Thrust/Raiden Thrust and applies a 10% damage buff for 30s.
Chaos Thrust Chaos Thrust CT 330 potency action that combos off of Disembowel and applies a 50 potency Damage over Time effect to the target for 24s. Has to be executed from the targets rear for maximum damage. The DoT effect is not influenced by the positional.
Vorpal Thrust Vorpal Thrust VT 350 potency action that combos off of True Thrust/Raiden Thrust
Full Thrust Full Thrust FT 530 potency action that combos off of Vorpal Thrust.
Fang and Claw Fang and Claw FC Blood of the Dragon must be active to use this combo action. Either used as the 4th combo action in the Full Thrust combo with 380 potency or as the 5th combo action in the Chaos Thrust combo with 490 potency (see Lance Mastery). Must be executed from the targets flank for maximum damage. Extends the duration of Blood of the Dragon by 10s.
Wheeling Thrust Wheeling Thrust WT Blood of the Dragon must be active to use this combo action. Either used as the 4th combo action in the Chaos Thrust combo with 380 potency or as the 5th combo action in the Full Thrust combo with 490 potency (see Lance Mastery). Must be executed from the targets rear for maximum damage. Extends the duration of Blood of the Dragon by 10s.
Piercing Talon Piercing Talon PT Uncomboed ranged action with 150 potency. Will terminate an active combo if used between combo skills.

Global Cooldown Actions (Area of Effect)

Doom Spike Doom Spike DoS Basic combo initiator for the AoE combo with 170 potency. Deals damage to all enemies in a rectangular shape.
Sonic Thrust Sonic Thrust SoT 200 potency action that combos off of Doom Spike. Deals damage to all enemies in a rectangular shape and extends the duration of Blood of the Dragon by 10s.
Coerthan Torment Coerthan Torment CoT 230 potency action that combos off of Sonic Thrust. Deals damage to all enemies in a rectangular shape and extends the duration of Blood of the Dragon by 10s.

off-Global Cooldown Actions

Icon Name Acronym Description
Jump Jump - 310 potency action with a 30s cooldown. Jumps to the target and returns to the original position immediately - long animation and movement lock. Allows the execution of Mirage Dive within 15s after using Jump.
High Jump High Jump HJ Upgraded version of Jump with 400 potency and a reduced movement lock.
Spineshatter Dive Spineshatter Dive SSD 240 potency action with a 60s cooldown. Jumps to the target - long animation lock.
Dragonfire Dive Dragonfire Dive DFD Jumps to the target and deals 380 potency to all enemies in a 5y radius around it. 120s cooldown - long animation lock.
Mirage Dive Mirage Dive MD 300 potency action that will add an eye to your Dragon Gauge when used while Blood of the Dragon is active. Only available after using (High) Jump.
Geirskogul Geirskogul GSK 300 potency action with a 30s cooldown that deals damage to all enemies in a rectangular shape. Can only be used when Blood of the Dragon is active. Enters Life of the Dragon for 30s when used with 2 Dragon Eyes open.
Nastrond Nastrond NAS Replaces Geirskogul when in Life of the Dragon. 400 potency action that deals damage to all enemies in a rectangular shape and has a 10s cooldown.
Stardiver Stardiver STD or SD Jumps to the target and deals damage to all enemies in 5y radius around it (600 potency for the first enemy, 30% less for all remaining enemies). Only available once per Life of the Dragon (30s cooldown) - very long animation lock.
Elusive Jump Elusive Jump EJ Jumps 15y backwards. Used to travel long distances quickly. 30s cooldown.

Buffs

Icon Name Acronym Description
Blood of the Dragon Blood of the Dragon BotD Dragoon’s primary mechanic. Under normal circumstances, it should never fall off. Increases the potency of High Jump and Spineshatter Dive by 30% and enables the use of Fang and Claw, Wheeling Thrust and Geirskogul. Allows the collection of Dragon Eyes to enter Life of the Dragon.
Lance Charge Lance Charge LC Increases damage dealt by 15% for 20s. 90s cooldown
Dragon Sight Dragon Sight DS Increases own damage dealt by 10% and the damage dealt by a specified target within 12y by 5% for 20s. 120s cooldown. Refer to the Basic Guide for tips on how to use this.
Battle Litany Battle Litany BL Increases the Critical Hit Rate by self and party members within 15y by 10% for 20s. 180s cooldown.
Life Surge Life Surge LS Guarantees a Critical Hit on the next Global Cooldown Action within 5s. 45s cooldown. Also works on AoE actions so it should always be paired with Full Thrust or Coerthan Torment. Absorbs 10% of the damage dealt from the buffed action as own HP
Tincture of Strength Current Tincture of Strength Pot Increases Strength by 10% for 30s. 270s cooldown.

Role Actions

Icon Name Acronym Description
Second Wind Second Wind - Instant self-heal for 500 potency. 120s cooldown.
Leg Sweep Leg Sweep - Stuns the target for 3s. 40s cooldown.
Bloodbath Bloodbath BB Heals self for 1/6 of all physical damage dealt for 20s. 120s cooldown.
Feint Feint - Reduces target’s physical damage dealt by 10% for 10s. 90s cooldown.
Arm’s Length Arm’s Length AL Grants knockback immunity for 6s (note that some knockbacks cannot be mitigated with this) and inflicts 20% slow for 15s on attackers when struck during this time. 120s cooldown.
True North True North TN Nullifies all positional requirements for 10s. 45s cooldown, can hold 2 charges.

Lance Mastery Lance Mastery - Enables the use of Fang and Claw or Wheeling Thrust as a 5th combo action and increases the potency of the 5th combo hit by 110 (380 -> 490).
Life of the Dragon Life of the Dragon LotD Enables the collection of Dragon Eyes by using Mirage Dive. Using Geirskogul at 2 Eyes will turn Blood of the Dragon into Life of the Dragon for 30s.
Jump Mastery Jump Mastery - Upgrades Jump to High Jump.
Lance Mastery II Lance Mastery II - Increases the potency of True Thrust by 80 (210 -> 290), Vorpal Thrust by 40 (310 -> 350) and Disembowel by 50 (270 -> 320). Also enables the use of Raiden Thrust after meeting the positional requirement.
Blood of the Dragon Mastery Blood of the Dragon Mastery - Blood of the Dragon defaults to 30s now. Also starts Life of the Dragon at 30s regardless of the remaining time of Blood of the Dragon.
